I think these turned out great for the series of three small floral oil paintings. The shadow reveal box frames were made from two thicknesses of pine glued together to create the recess for the painting to be housed in. The lengths were then cut to size on a mitre saw (45-degree corners), glued, painted with chalk paint and sealed with a chalk paint was to give a satin finish.
